The first thing to strike me about this mouse, is the colouring, when I first saw it, I knew it would be bronze of course, but I didn’t know just how good that would look on a mouse, well I can safely say, it actually makes the mouse look awesome. The bronze makes the up part of the mouse look like it’s made of proper bronze metal, however, it’s just plastic. Even so though it still looks like real metal. Whoever designed this mouse needs a medal.
In terms of comfort, there’s an angled thumb rest on the left side of the mouse and an angled finger rest on the right. The palm area is sloped and allows my entire palm to sit comfortably without the annoying and uncomfortable issue of my palm dragging behind the mouse.
In terms of LED’s, this mouse has a set of none user changeable blue lights illuminate sections of the top and sides of the mouse. As these aren’t customizable and there’s no switch to turn them on and off, these are constantly on with your PC. This is my only issue with this mouse, I do like to turn things like this off from time to time
There are six buttons on this mouse, all the usual stuff like the clickers and the scroll clicker nd the extras, such as the DPI switch and the back and forth buttons on the side. Each button has a nice click to it to inform the user the button has in fact pressed properly.
The DPI switch is located just below the scroll wheel. It allows you to switch between the following DPI’s.
The DPI switch sets the speed at which the mouse pointer moves across your screen. The lower the DPI the more slowly and smoothly the mouse pointer will glide across the screen and the higher the DPI the faster the pointer will glide along the screen. This makes strategic gaming so much easier as it gives you control on how fast the mouse pointer will move in the game.
I have been using this mouse for a both gaming and general computer browsing. For gaming, I found it to be a good mouse, that was very responsive and practically there with me in the game. The DPI switch made changing between different DPI’s for in-game scenarios so easy and allowed to instantly switch.
For general PC browsing, the feeling was pretty much the same as it was for gaming. The responsiveness was bang on and the overall experience was smooth.
In terms of smoothly gliding across surfaces, I had no issues using the mouse on both my wooden desktop and my large mouse mat. It glided smoothly across each surface with ease.
A fantastic gaming mouse with an overall gorgeous appearance, that is owed to the wonderful use of bronze as a colour. It’s comfortable to use and smoothly glides across my mouse mat and wooden desktop with ease.
