During the past few months, both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers, have been reliving the past via the amazing remake of the first three Spyro games, however, one noticeable absence has been that of a Nintendo Switch version for whatever reason. Well, all of that is set to change, especially if a recent product listing over at GameStop Germany is anything to go by.
The product listing, which has since been taken down, not only gave us a clue that the game could very well exist, it also gave us a date for release, that date is August 16th, 2019, which is a Friday. Check out this tweet below, by Spyro Universe to see the page before it was taken down.
A listing for Spyro Reignited Trilogy for Nintendo Switch has been found on GameStop Germany’s website. It gives the game a August 16th release date.

At this moment, this should be taken with a pinch of salt, until Activision makes an announcement about the game. That said, GameStop is one of the world’s largest games retailers, which when paired with such a specific date, gives this leak a bit more authenticity.
I have never had a doubt in my mind, that this game would be coming to the Nintendo Switch at some point, as the exact same thing happened with the Crash Bandicoot remaster, which originally started off its life on PlayStation 4 before being ported over to the Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch.
For those of you who own either a PS4 or Xbox One, you can pick up Spyro Reignited Trilogy from most retailers at prices between £20 to £30 here in the United Kingdom.
